Medical Ethics Society Annual Conference Student-Run Medical Ethics Conference Explores Jewish Perspectives on Public Health
Bright and early on the Sunday morning of November 6, an eager crowd braved New York City Marathon traffic to attend the Yeshiva University Student Medical Ethics Society’s (MES) sixth annual conference in Lamport Auditorium on the Wilf Campus.

Sukkot To-Go Welcome South Africa to the Yeshiva University To-Go Community
For the first time, South Africa has joined the To-Go community. 20,000 Sukkot To-Go 5772 were printed this year by Mizrachi South Africa. Both the Rosh Hashana To-Go 5772 and Sukkot To-Go 5772 were distributed worldwide before the holidays. Over 20,000 of each were printed and sent to over 200 requested locations in the United States, Israel, United Kingdom, and Canada. For the first time, South Africa has also printed our Sukkot To-Go journal. They distributed an astounding 20,000 copies to the South African Jewish community.

Torah Tours Yeshiva University’s Blanche and Aaron Schreiber Torah Tours Enrich Holiday Celebration in 81 Communities Across North America and United Kingdom
“My friends ask me why we keep going back to Merrick,” shared Josh Botwinick, a YU Junior, as he addressed Congregation Ohav Sholom in Merrick, Long Island in his sermon on Parshat Bereishit. “I tell them that I can’t really explain it. We just love it here.” Well, the members of Ohav Sholom can certainly explain why they love having Torah Tours.

kohelet Kohelet Fellowships Launches With Five Regional Orientation Events
Yeshiva University Center for the Jewish Future is reaching out to engage day school parents in new ways. This month, the 2011-2012 Kohelet Fellowships Program launched with five regional orientation programs. 650 parents participated in the orientation events. The events were held in Manhattan, Memphis, Long Island, Philadelphia, and Cherry Hill, NJ.

Rebbetzin Yarchei Kallah Rebbetzin Yarchei Kallah Attracts Rebbetzins From Across the Globe
The Rebbetzin Esther Rosenblatt Yarchei Kallah for Rebbetzins is scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday, November 14th and 15th at Keter Torah in Teaneck, N.J. The family of Rebbetzin Rosenblatt has very generously dedicated this program in her memory for five years. The purpose of the conference is to express appreciation to the rebbetzins, provide a forum for them to discuss rebbetzin-related subjects, offer them new skills, shiurim and the opportunity to network with other rebbetzins.
